I am about one week from having my first year of Premium membership expire with NGC and want to make sure I use the $150 credit before it's too late. Decided to send in 6-8 world coins using the Economy tier. This is the only Tier I will use. All coins are under 45mm, etc.

1. Can I include any "modern" world coins? 1955-present

2. Philippines USA territory peso coins from 1903-1912 listed by NGC as "World coins". So should be ok ?

3. Couple of 1800's Brit coins seem to have a light lacquer or wax on them. I am ok with that, but what about NGC?

4. Two of the larger silver coins that are mint state have black uniform haze-like oxidation. Looks fine to me, but is there a safe quick fix?

I never dipped a coin before. I read up on using pure acetone and how it can clean and remove wax/lacquer from copper/bronze and oxidation from silver without messing with the flow-lines left by the mint striking process. What would YOU do? I know the standard answer is NEVER clean coins....but what would YOU do if the 100% acetone really supposed to work?

Thank you for any assistance and advice!

Yes if you're using the economy tier you can include any moderns as well. You can always include lower tier coins in a higher tier if you wish you just can't include higher tier coins in a lower tier.

The territory coons can go world. I know for PCGS you can send those world or US and NGC is likely the same but you can definitely send them as world coins.

Liquor and the dark they may offer their conservation for. They're a bit quick to offer it and if you say no it'll details. Those will be judgement calls for them with how they will do it. Some they're details others will straight grade depending on severity

1. Yes you can include modern coins. Although there is also a separate tier where you could get them graded a few dollars cheaper. But then you have to pay 8 dollars for the invoice sheet.
2. Yes
3. Don't know. They will either 1. Grade them. 2. Give them details grades or 3. Say that you may benefit from conservation and give you that option.
4. You may want to have these go to NCS first for conservation, and then for grading. Be aware conservation adds 25 dollars on top of the grading fee.

I really appreciate both comprehensive replies. You were a lot of help. Will post the outcome once they come back from NGC.
