Hey there!

I just got this off of ebay....I know. The coloring is super odd but the features and the strike is really good! What are your thoughts and grading? I'm nervous that it might be counterfeit.

Please help!

Not a fake, just gold plated to imitate a 'racketeer nickel.'

au deets due to the plating, but I don't think it would affect value much. it is nice to have a historical example that may have been attempted to apss off as gold due to a weakness in the design that lacked a denomination.
