I believe this 1941-D Walker is actually an unattributed D/D RPM (perhaps FS-501) based on seller's photos. I tried to zoom in on the MM area. It's a raw coin.

Grading this one is bound to be difficult because of the seller's 2x2 photos (I cropped them onto a black background.) There are numerous marks scattered around, especially noticeable on the topmost dress fold, the left obverse field and the face of the sun, but no signs of mechanical cleaning or other surface disturbances; I'm not sure if this is an AU coin or a low MS, since it's difficult to differentiate between wear and a weak strike, but I'm leaning towards AU as the thumb and stars are nicely struck up. The back seems to be more strongly toned than the obverse. Luster may be weak, or may simply be buried under toning.

When it gets here I'll see what it "really" looks like but I thought I'd solicit some CCF opinions first.

Thanks as always.

Closeup of the MM area from seller photo showing current D MM repunched (southwest?) over another D?

Looks high AU to me. Appears slight evidence of wear on the right facing breastplate and eagle's breast.
Rest in Peace

Technical Grade 55. Eye Appeal 6/10. I can't tell on the RPM but thanks for showing it as well as you were able based on the sellers photos.

Pretty pleased for $15 shipped. Solid AU58 IMO. Luster is much better in hand; not sure how well these pictures will show it. It's not the RPM, unfortunately. Toning is a nice light golden color that doesn't show up entirely here but is attractive and original.

I might send this one off on the next ANACS $10 special just for the heck of it.

I'm still having trouble seeing the D/D. Maybe a photo shot of the MM area at an angle would make anything raised show up better.

@IGE, the scope photos show that it is not the D/D.
