Not sure how many have seen one of these so am putting up some close ups to show where to look to find this one. Using a loupe I can really only see the doubling on the upper right of the OD of GOD although by turning the coin the notching on the W of WE can clearly be seen as well. The doubling is best seen with the loupe when the coin is rotated 45 degrees counterclockwise. Hope this helps find more of these.

Very nice catch, not an easy one to detect.

That's not an easy one to find. It's a pretty tough variety to get a hold of.

This DDO seems a lot like the 1969 DDO-001 in that they are only really visible under a loupe in EDS even though they have nice separation. It doesn't take much die wear or coin wear to remove the visible doubling leaving just the shape of the devices to go by. Come to think of it I would probably put 1970 DDO-001 on this list as well and should post one of those sometime.

Anyway, it is still possible to see the shape and length of the crossbar of the G even when the separation lines aren't visible, so there is still hope to pick out a later die stage with a loupe.

And these do seem to be particularly rare. I have two slabbed that I bought but both from the same seller. Can't remember another one for sale in the last couple years and I am always on the lookout for DDO-001 Lincolns.
