I found a 37 Buffalo nickel with a perfect round little dimple on both sides of the coin in the exact spot. No damage is around it and for sure looks like it was struck like this. would that change the value of the coin? It was hard taking picture I circled the defect

Appears to be PMD. Probably from someone picking it up with something.

I wish I could get a better picture. I don't think it's from someone picking it up. They are I. The exact same spots on both sides of the coin but opposit sides of each other. But perfectly exactly in the same spot. They are perfect little dimples the metal around them isn't damaged at all in any way what do ever so I would think they were there when it was struck.

I looked at the Rockwell test marks. The dimples are just like this. The only difference I saw is on the tested coins on google the marks were both on the same side these are on opposit sides and there is only 2 and again in the exact location just opposit sides of the coin
