Howdy fellow collectors,

Ever since middle school, I've collected coins as a hobby after finding one of my classmates playing with what turned out to be a 1902 Indian Head that he had found on the gym floor (lol). Anyway, I wanted to get some opinions on what I have here before me.

Additional Info:
This quarter definitely creates a different pitch and tamber of sound when dropped in comparison to a normal quarter. To be more specific, it's a lower pitch with a much duller thud; there's no ring.

The rim looks like plating is falling off and the Bust isn't right, something added., that maybe your reason. Weight test is essential here.

To CCF! This is a damaged coin. It's Post Strike Damage (it happened after it left the U.S. Mint).

Gotcha, I just found it odd, since that lesion right at the base of Washington's neck was actually the copper showing through the Zinc. Thanks! :D
