I found a token that is good for 5 cents at a hotel bar in Sturgeon Bay WI. Google doesn't seem to be helping because it keeps returning sites to book hotel rooms and no history of old hotels. Any help would be appreciated. I will try to contact the historical society if they have one. I guess I can't post a picture from my phone... so this is the inscription:

Front: Ed.Kirchenberg Hotel Sturgeon Bay,WIS
Back: Good for 5C (cents) at bar

Thanks!

Well, the inscription does tell it all. A Good for token and where it could be redeemed. Anywhere from the 1930's on really. Search for "token catalogues-Good fors"?

I'm sure you're right on that one. Silver and gold are pretty much the only thing that comes out of the ground in the same condition as when they were lost many years ago.
