Anyone seen anything like this before? I havenīt !...

Thought it was just a common Raja Raja coin (1st coin) and went to check its ref number in Mitchener to sell on..Its not there! So like you do I started searching and canīt find any reference to the reverse cyphers(spheres)(2nd coin)...Normally all his coins have 4 cyphers (filled , hollow etc), but this has TWO with 4 lines above? and holding something different in the hand...Any ideas would be really appreciated...Thanks in advance Paul

I haven't seen one like that either, but than I really not that up on this series yet. I wish there was more reference material on these. I don't have Mitchener wish I did but they are super expensive.

Nice find.

I'm not sure if Dane has a page on these if not maybe she could start one so we could add these coins to it.

Interesting. It's not a type I typically look for, but I have a handful that I won on $1 bids. I'll keep my eyes peeled for more examples.

I am finding increasingly that Indian coins tend to cough up a whole lot of unpublished varieties.
