Seems to be made out of a yellow metal, Nordic-gold?

Sold by the 100,000's at religious supply store as good luck/protection pieces given out at services and by the devout to people they meet. AS said brass or some are plated.

We see these on the forum quite a lot. Examples: Thread 1, Thread 2, Thread 3, Thread 4. People find them in all sorts of strange places. That's because some of the sellers of these "guardian angel tokens" actually tell people to go around putting them in odd places for other people to find, or even in the bag, purse or pocket of a stranger.
