I just started to gather up a few of these to maybe put together a set one ounce at a time. I just bought a 2000 1 oz dragon and I paid $60.00 USD including shipping. I have no reference for these coins. Is this an OK price?.

Thanks and G'day!.

If that was silver - it was a fair price depending on which one you purchased - see below.

If it was gold

A great price

Silver lunar 2oz proof AU$ 65 = US$ 62.53

Silver Lunar 1 oz specimen gilded A$ 55 = US$52.91

silver lunar specimen A$ 30 = US$ 28.86

Yeah, Its the one ounce silver reverse proof 2000 dragon. It looks like I paid about right. (I wish it was gold) Thanks again for the info.

Current retail in oz on 1oz lunars specimen (bullion) coins is AU$37.00. Some of the more sort after pieces eg snake, dragon and horse will sell for slightly more. You will find this is the case in both the proof and gold versions.
