The coin looks like copper and weighs 3.8 grams--size is 25 mm--so I think Pistareen and tdziemia are right and it's likely this type: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces9075.html 1606-1615 - Spanish Netherlands (Brabant) "Albertus and Elisabet Dei Gratia" Now to find the value (researching this for an elderly friend). tdziemia Pillar of the Community United States 7941 Posts	Posted 09/09/2018 07:00 am Here is one that has sold recently: https://www.ebay.com/itm/492746-Coi...047675.l2557 Your friend's coin has a more appealing shape, but as the legends are more worn, and the date is incomplete (maybe it's more readable when you have it in hand), that usually detracts from the value.
