I picked up a metal detector at a local auction. I came with every thing except the instructions. There is no brand name on it. So looking up anything is next to impossible. I am looking for any kind of help I can get. If anyone has a copy of a book for this.

I personally have never seen a detector like yours . Without instructions your going to have to play with all those settings until you know what they do . totally surprised that there is no brand name or model number on it .

Dig a couple holes at different depths and bury some coins in the holes. Adjust the settings until you can hear the deepest coin set the machine off. If you are getting a lot of false signals, you need to adjust your ground balance. I don't know what surf elim is. Also, you will want to figure out how to take low iron signals out by discriminating the signals. I'm assuming you either hit the adjust or mode button until you can adjust the lines underneath each block dissappear (up where it says gold/silver range). You probably don't have to tweak it that much though. Just try turning it on and going, adjusting the settings as you learn the machine better.
