I have a £2 coin which is very disfigured and there is spillage of colours between the borders. I was wondering if it is more likely a fake coin than very poorly minted, and if it is poorly minted does it have any value.
That's an error coin. Nice find. The centre core wasn't placed properly in the hole when the coin was struck and the pressure of the strike spread it into the outer ring. The more space between the core and ring, the more valuable it is.
