I found this 1974 D LMC and while it is not the DDO-001 it has the exact same 4 as the DDO version but that is where the similarities end. My question is this, if Variety Vista recognizes the extra thickness on the 4 on the DDO version, would this possibly be considered as DDO as well? The last pic was borrowed from V.V.

Good question, don't know a definite answer. Will give you a guess tho, there are two different date styles for the 74 hubs, I don't have any chart, know Coop would. But a sid by side of yours and VVs a has a difference, the tail of the 7 is shorter. I'm going to guess that VV may have it wrong in that the 4 maybe a Master hub doubled event, where yeah, it's doubled, but on many, many other working dies, at all mints.

Ahh!
Found it! You have a small date, VVs is a large date on the 4, check end of crossbar, flat/angled.

There's some circulation flattening on the 4 in the date. Maybe that's why the 4 in the date seems thicker in size?

Nevermind about my previous comment. Crazyb0 nailed it!

I know it is a small date, I apologize for not adding that to my post! So what I have is an everyday run of the mill 4 on the date, correct?
