Please evaluate: this is worth 140 GBP in VF and 200 GBP british XF. I'd say this is in the XF range but cannot be certain. Can anyone help me out in the evaluation of this?

For me this is a big piece - the biggest I've got so far, so it makes me nervous and a little excited :P ... what fun!...

Well I re-read the description and he says it' a GVF or good very fine grade hmm in that case it looks like it was just about 'spot on' for it's price..

Not necessarily: the British system is known to be rather harsh and don't forget the seller wrote in his description that he was a founder member of a numismatic society called the British numismatic Trade Association. Looking at the enlarged scans on the ebay page the reverse seems wonderful! It even seems to glow a little..
