Hello everyone. I was wondering if anyone thought this penny was worth keeping

Its a 76 and not in horrible condition. All the letters and designed look very strong to me. I noticed the initials FG has something going on. The F is missing the the G is very weak. Well thank you for all your help.

It's still there but barely. It might have been caused by a Grease Filled Die issue.

Also looks like it could have been overpolished, hard to tell.

PS-
In the future, please orient your pictures the right way as per CCF instructions.

It has been definitely been over polished. That is caused by an over polished die. The U.S. Mint does this, so they can get rid of Die Clashes, and it extends the life of the die a little bit longer.

In my opinion, no, but you can still save it for future references.

They are only worth keeping when both F and G are totally missing. And even then, the premium is minimal.

I would spend it, but you can keep it if you want.
