Most of the counterfeit gold bars on
ebay we have been able to get removed before they are sold.
But-
There have been a rash of counterfeit 5g
Perth Mint Bars coming out of Lithuania lately. The problem with these is
that they are only 24 hour listings which doesn't leave much time to catch, report to the contact and get removed.
Although they are under different names, I believe they are all the same seller.
I will show an easy way to tell the difference although there are many more markers.
Just look at the signature on the back, on a counterfeit,
it is higher above the Bar Number than a genuine bar.
(Note: This only applies to black holders)
Just remember, gold and silver are commodities and can't be bought at a discount so if someone offers you
a "deal" because they bought it cheap, then it's probably fake.
