Just won this, I was thinking it would be somewhere between 63/64 RB, bought it raw and hoping it looks as good or better in hand.

I want to say 64BN. I do really love the look of that coin though.
Rest in Peace

64BN is about right. Do like the woodie. My concern would be the TPG, would they consider that much of alloy mismatch a planchet flaw, and possibly details it for that? Would be interesting to take it to a show where the tpgs are set up and ask.

Crazy, I dont think TPG's would detail a coin for a pre/during strike flaw, just as they wouldnt detail a coin with a major lamination, which you could consider an alloy issue.

A bit hard to grade with the woody pattern, but I'll say MS-64BN. I like it.

I really can't tell much of anything about the surfaces from these pics, other than it certainly is not an RB coin (), so I'll not offer a grade. I personally do not care for the appearance.

Thank you for your opinions!

As for the color designation, I'm not sure how this wouldnt be desinated RB? From my understanding, a coin would get an RB designation if it has between 10-95 % red color, id estimate this to have around 30-40% red.

My remark about it not being RB was simply based on your pics - perhaps they aren't accurate, but I don't see any red at all, just browns and tans.
