Wrldcoincolctr79 New Member United States 9 Posts	Posted 09/26/2018 11:44 am Hey all! Going to start and tell you all how I got into coins. My dad started about 3 years ago. Hes got a huge collection already, basically started because he was going to sell them/trade/collect, when he retires. So one weekend I went to his house to hand out and hes telling me about his coin collection, how hes learning to grade, and learning all about world coins,their denominations, different languages and all that good stuff. It seemed so interesting to me so I got started. He gave me some stuff he hadn't searched from some lots he bought from ebay. I was hooked instantly, I'm learning to grade them, search them and read other languages. I guess how I found this community was when I ended up with a coin from 300ish AD and searching for it for hours brought me here a few times. Report this Post to the Staff

tman82 New Member United States 0 Posts	Posted 09/26/2018 6:53 pm Hello fellow collectors. I've been collecting for over 50 years. Most of my collection I've inherited or have been gifted. I've done a fair amount of trading with other collectors from clubs and shows. I've also bought from shows, dealers and more recently ebay. Overall my experience with ebay has been favorable but just recently I was blocked by a seller because I called him out on a coin that was obviously cleaned. He disagreed and offered a refund but I kept the coin anyway. I have discussed issues with other sellers and even retuned coins but have never been blocked from buying from them. In case anyone is interested " oldcoins77 " is a vindictive seller and will block you if you complain about one of his coins. Report this Post to the Staff
