Thank you, Dearborn GLB and Errers. Dearborn, it wasn't cheap. And your 1921 1 Franc is way better than my 1903 1 Franc. I bought the 1921 as an upgrade.

This is the first time I've seen these Guadeloupe 1 Franc coins. I just looked them up and it seems there was a mintage of 700,000 in 1903 and again 700,000 in 1921. Can anyone explain the large gap of 18 years between minting the coins? They are pretty expensive coins.

Many of the coins from French overseas possessions are expensive. My 1973 Reunion coins cost an arm and a leg.
