Bought a cigar box full of world coins, received it yesterday:

Continuing-List-To-Show-Everyones-Latest-Acquisitions

Not gone through it all yet, but there is coins from 50+ different countries, many that I didn't have represented in my collection before. A few older coins as well:

- My now oldest farthing (1831)
- My now oldest British penny (1861)
- My now oldest Norwegian 1 øre (1910)

A couple of major upgrades on my British pennies from 1896 and 1928 too, and my first Liberty nickel (1905) ever, as well as a 1957 D Wheat cent in excellent condition.

I love going through piles of coins like that :)

There might be some really interesting varieties in there. Did you check for doubled dies and such?

I'm a total newbie (should really do a proper introduction at some point) who only collects by mintmark/dates. Varieties/errors don't really interest me - not yet at least

Made a Trade for this coin:
Under normal lighting. it is very dark and can't see any details.

Using better lighting and tilting the coin.

This is now the oldest US coin in my collection. Under good lighting this detail coin is beautiful.
