Super additions Silverskunk, GLB, Hondo and Dearborn ... ...close call on those Eagles, Dearborne! ...Hondo, the various finishes on that Tokelau 2 Dollars are mind-blowing...nice, low mintage, too... ...although off the flan, the date for this 8 reales is most likely 1619, due to the assayer (de Tapia, 1st term), castle & lions details, & the crown details ... got this from ebay, after looking at it for 5 months, seller offered me a bargain price, & I couldn't refuse ...  |

Thanks, Hondo ... these coins were made with more care than the later "cobs" that were hastily knocked out with less attention to detail ... this one has a decent amount of detail, obverse & reverse ...

thanks Bryan and MrWhiskers - it was a close call, I would think that another day in a USPS carrier vehicle it would have been 'label-less' and then undeliverable. But one would hope that they would maybe open it up to see if there was a address label on the inside.  and a very nice Bolivia coin. |
