I picked this one up in a trade. I wasn't looking for one, but when deals come along you never turn them down.

Snatched this 5 Reichspfennig 1936, mintmark 'D', from ebay - the seller did not utilize 'international' option in ebay ie. the auction on this coin was only available through ebay.fr site. Looks like there is very limited number of 3rd Reich coin collectors in France, since there was almost zero interest. Any coin dealer in Germany seems to be asking around 70-100 euros ($80 - $110) for this coin, in similar condition! And I got this one for 12 euros ($13.50) plus shipping. -JJ-

104 years old? Man, that cent has seen some mileage. And yet Abe is still looking good.

Wow, some nice coins many of you have recently picked up!
EarlyTurban - those look like PCGS holders, can you post the grades? Lovin' those old dime-sized gold Indians. I haven't been able to pull the trigger on purchasing any myself...the gold market has been sooo volatile lately. Yikes.
