Bought both of these Coronet Liberty Head Large Cents on USA C B for 56.20. One is from 1819; the other one is from 1825.

Thank you, CoinForMe. The 1819 would be a good candidate for an acetone soak and Verdi-Care. There's some corrosion on the reverse, but it's otherwise a pretty nice looking coin.

I love that French coin, Hondo Boguss. The reverse with the image of the parachute over the church is incredibly impressive! Instantly brought back memories of some of the movies and stories about D-Day. Thank you very much for sharing.

I'd definitely give Verdi-Care a try on that 1819 large cent, Errers. Don't know if acetone will do much, but wouldn't hurt to try. Good luck!
