I am in the process of upgrading my NZ florin coins at the moment, most of my standard ones grade G - VG (VG8 at best) and silver ones became very expensive in higher grades. It looks dull, but is a full VF and quite hard to get without spending $100s - 35 was a scarce year too.

That cost $30 - In EF add a 0, in UNC add 2 zeroes. This 1945 cost me $12 and its gFine/aVF - streets ahead of the usual G - VG piece that would cost $7 The Rev is nice, but George is a little hazy. I would buy better - but to buy stunning NZ Florins before 1960 you need to be a Rockefeller.

New Zealand silver coins are quite pricey, I've noticed, especially in higher grades.
