Quote: Dorado - Lovely 53 Florin there. It's a hard date to find perfect examples from, weak strikes mostly. Yours is definitely above average. Thanks Princetane. Unc.

Here is one of mine The price was a tad high but I like the eye appeal and the higher grade of this type 1, 1917-S quarter for my standing set. -

What do you think of the Type 2 Silver Eagle?

Im loving seeing all these coins above from everywhere imaginable. Mine for today is a wow coin that I was looking for, this time from the land of Lincoln's. It was a huge estate sale at a large, stately house with a coin collection amongst everything else for sale. Now when I got there, someone bought almost all of the silver dollars but they left a few coins over. There were 2 1909-VDB's at 4 dollars a piece and both are in AU at least. So I bought them but couldn't make out any DDO's there until I got home and checked again... Well, low and behold one of the 2 was indeed the DDO#1 Well, I'm stoked now, this was one I was looking for - And the 2 close-ups... -

Monthly Coin Club Meeting tonight. My auction winnings. The 5 Pesos looks Unc, the Franklin AU but I got a good deal. Also got a Santa Claus Dollar for a dollar. Can't go wrong there. It's still a legal tender crisp dollar. 1948 Mexico Silver 5 Pesos 1959 Franklin half Dollar
