Quote: I had to resort to trickery to get an order in. I had the same problem, so created a new account under my other email address and it worked. No idea why, but as of today in silver, only the £2 one ounce coin and £10 one ounce coin are available. huh, I may have to go look and see if I can get one now.

Quote:Finally, The Royal Mint Coronation issues arrived! Although not a fan of male monarchs, I think the reverse with the intricate shield shield design looks great. Quote: Many lovely additions over the weekend! jbuck, you are aware the Morgan dollar is fake, right?

@CalzoneManiac and @Dearborn. Thank you both. These old worn out coins are a side thing I'm working on.

I have a little magnet that I take with me when I can view the coin in person. Doesn't work very well online though. :-)

Yeah, you most definitely should be careful when buying coins online. Remember the old adage "If it looks too good to be true, it most likely is." If you want to get a CC Morgan, a real one, you should automatically be suspicious of any listings under $100 as they are almost always scams or fakes. A coin like yours, if real, would be north of $200.

Interesting. I'd wager within a few weeks of that medal's issuance, you could not even get a chocolate bar for 10 marks!
