You know, I just checked my list and I don't have any open ASE orders

Yeah, same here, I'll be putting in another order for the '91 and '92 ASE's next week.

1949 Swiss Gold 20 Francs Helvetia.
Need to find a balance light source for taking pics.

That is an excellent older coin. Your pictures look just fine to me. Very good detail.

Yes, they are, I have a few from my Mom's collection so I recently started adding more.

Khromtau, your Morgan looks more like PMD than a clipped planchet.

How so? It does have the blaksely effect, go to the previous page which has the post that I made yesterday.

I think it is a very small clip, which was mostly filled in by the pressure during the strike (can't see shear lines). The wear and minor damage from circulation also disguises the look of the clip.

Khromtau, nice clip on that Morgan dollar. Don't see too many with clips.

I don't understand how Khromtau's Morgan dollar is minted on a clipped planchet. It seems to be perfectly circular but the rim and denticles mashed from PMD, with reeding damaged during that event. Please explain this to me.

It is considered a minute clip compared to other that shows piece of coin missing for that Morgan dollar, I don't see any premium then a regular silver coin IMO.

Edit: The Ike dollar is more interesting and collectible.

I almost thought it was a Cud, not a clipped planchet.
