The silver Libertad is made in several different weights but 1 oz seems to be the most common. I have recently seen the 2000 1 oz silver Libertad going for $70 to $199 depending on condition.

I just looked through ebay's sold listings, and several auctions for 1 oz 2000 Libertads have ended at around $40 Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

That sounds good. My numbers were from online dealers and "buy it now" ebay listings. I've seen some better prices when scrolling on ebay but condition was a factor and I don't buy anything below brilliant uncirculated. .
