The Harriet Tubman coins arrived this past week. The silver dollar uncirculated and proof:   The clad half dollar uncirculated and proof.   By far I like the uncirculated silver dollar is my favorite followed by the proof. The half dollars just lose something not being silver, particularly the uncirculated half dollar. |

Obtained this Saint Helena 1 1/4 ounce silver coin this past week. I am becoming really partial to the Saint Helena coins minted by the East India Company.  edited description error. Edited by mestephil

...Attended the annual Memphis Coin Club coin show in Southaven, MS (just outta Memphis...) today, & met a fellow Coin Community Family member who was displaying at the show ... bought a few minors from him & got a really good deal on both ... want to give this guy a plug ... easy to deal with, great selection of "non-run-of -the-mill" items ... His name here is " beem ", his business name is " Wondy Numismatics " ... he's on ebay, but his web address is wondycoin.com ... check out his offerings ... very fair prices ...  ...here's what I got from Ben (these coins have spotless surfaces ... any marks you see are photo 'chatter', not on the coin surfaces...)   ...Thanks, Ben ... love the coins ... |
