Great coin set, moniker. I love the flamingos as well. I have the 1973 proof set version

Have you removed the plastic or do they remain sealed?

Thank you, Moniker. Some of the Canadian $8 and $10 coins come in 1.5 oz and 2 oz also

I placed the coins in 2x2 as the quality of the plastic and case left much to be desired.

Thank you. I will consider doing the same. Still 50 years and no toning on mine. To bad I like some toning

Hey Bryan, thanks for the info. I sent them an email to find out the shipping costs to the US - which will probably be more than the coins cost!

Beautiful bald eagle, GLB, and that's a fantastic set Moniker!

Hermetically sealed in shrink-wrap and stored in the dark is the best way to slow toning. Other people have put coins on a windowsill to accelerate toning, but I've never experimented with that.

Thank you Hondo, I like them alot, some seem dcam of these sets some not

I will try the windowsill for fun with some of my lowgrade morgans

I bought this lot for 10 dollars today, common coins, but I couldnt resist finding out how correct these "less famous" coin graders are, I remain sceptical. A research project for CCF!

Be careful of the windowsill toning trick with slabbed coins - as you may also 'tone' out the plastic slab too (UV rays are heck on plastic - you should see the headlights on my truck).
