Thank you all, Quote: Be careful of the windowsill toning trick with slabbed coins - as you may also 'tone' out the plastic slab too (UV rays are heck on plastic - you should see the headlights on my truck Thank for protip, yes I will use old plastic pocketholder and old paper envelopes and only coins that I'm not afraid to make worse. I currently only own one slabbed coin, those 5 ones I'm not even counting the pcgs say total pop for ms69 is 1 and 0 for ms70 for Roosevelt 10p 1999, maybe its a one of a kind or overgraded, I know what I think Bets are off folks

I am aware of UV rays on plastic - they always told you to not leave your VHS tapes sitting in the car because they would melt!

Quote: they always told you to not leave your VHS tapes sitting in the car because they would melt! We used to place some old records on the back shelf on our cars to warp them up then play them on the record player all distorted. Hours of fun

Update on shipping costs of 2 kilo world coins from Australia: Quote: Thank you for your e-mail, our website automatically calculated the shipping to your location in the US at a cost of about $172, which is tracked, insured and express postage. I think I'll pass on that.
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

Quote: Thank you for your e-mail, our website automatically calculated the shipping to your location in the US at a cost of about $172 That's a bit steep. I went on the Australia Post website which is probably who they ship through and the most expensive they quoted was $144 and the cheapest was $62, which is still expensive but better than $172.
Cheers Bryan
