I have looked at these coins for a long time and finally dove in and acquired one. 2013 Fort McHenry, America the Beautiful Quarter - 5 oz silver in an uncirculated matte finish. The coin is 76.2 mm in diameter. Now I am committed to seek the entire series.....

I think I'll go have a look at these and see what they are going for. What years did they make these 5oz coins? and for all the ATB coins? - just went and answered my questions..

Quote: Good luck with your new endeavor - post results if you can. I just purchased the 2017 P George Rogers Clark coin, so will get that in a week or so. There are total 56 ATB 5 oz coins, I believe, and they come in two flavors - the uncirculated ( no mint mark) bullion strike and the matte finish (burnished) collectors version with the P mint mark. I am a fan of the matte finish, so that will be my pursuit. It's going to be a long term collecting pursuit for me, otherwise I'll have no budget for other stuff. Going to take up storage space, but, oh boy, are they fun to hold!

Wonderful coins, Dearborn GLB and mestephil! Yes, mestephil, those ATP hockey pucks are wonderful! And available for surprisingly low prices, considering they are 5 oz.

Coin show today was excellent! Came home with > 140 additions to my collection. Spent twice what I was expecting, but all money well spent invested. The following is the only one I've imaged (so that I could use it in Coin Geography). The circled number is what the dealer charged me. Netherlands Utrecht 1/10 Philipsdaalder 1571
