I don't think so. There is no precident for this and the M is not centered between the A and E. Is the A in STATES centered between the Ts or is it shifted to the right?

the A in states is centered between tne ts.could this be someones attempt at counterfeit? where do I go from here?

you can see faintly another 9 underneath the 4 touching the 9 in front of it which appears to be doubled.

It's a Close AM which is normal for 1994.

Also, I see no doubling on the date.

It's a real coin, just a bit dirty.

It's a Close AM. A well-placed hit caused it to look like a Wide AM, but it's actually a Close AM.
