I am an avid collector of US coins. I would consider my numismatic interest and collection efforts are focused on US small cents (i.e. flying eagle, indian head, and Lincoln wheat cents). I currently have a complete LWC collection housed in a Dansco album and am working on the flying eagle/indian head cent series. I have a good eye for problem coins and only buy pleasing and original specimens for my collection. Throughout my experience in this hobby I have come to realize that the thrill of collecting numismatically significant specimens is derived from sifting through the plethora of problem coins (both raw and graded) offered on eBay/coin stores and finding that one coin that is of truly great quality for the grade.
Additionally, I am an experienced coin roll hunter. I have searched through more than 100 boxes of cents and have had great enjoyment in pulling out 1000+ wheat cents, 3 Indian Head cents, and interesting Canadian cents such as 1920 and 1921 specimens.
