I received this token in a lot that I recently purchased. It is in French, out of Canada. I do not know what it says. I am guessing it is a 50th anniversary coin. If anyone can translate it I would be grateful. Even more so If someone knows the family so I can return it.

My French is rusty, but here's a go:

"On 10 July 1948, Mireille Landry and Gaston-Guy Pelletier united before God at the church of Saint Stanislas de Kostka in Montreal. 50 years later they are still together, happy, an example for all of us.

This medal, created with modern technologies is an homage to the exemplary couple.

Long live Mireille and Gaston-Guy and thank you for everything.

A son who loves you very much, Serge."

I don't know if the company that made this still exists, but they may have records that would help.
