Just picked up another 1943 DDO FS 101 this week. Was wondering how you might grade it? Thank you!

Appears re-processed in these pics. Genuine MS coins have a sort of satin-like appearance. No grade.

Well, if ANACS graded it straight, then it isn't plated. Might just be your lighting making it look plated. It also isn't FS-101, it's a more minor DDO. The extra thickness on the date isn't strong enough. Also, if it were FS-101, ANACS would have labeled it as such.

In my experience these often have a satiny appearance, but I'm sure ANACS knows what they're saying.

Tanman, I do not have the capability or lighting to take pictures. But this Coin has all the EDS Die Scratches found on coppercoins for the FS 101. I agree though, the Spread on the date does not look as prominent as my other, could that be because it is EDS and there is less separation?
