Very obviously an 1801 S-219 3 errors reverse, and not a terrible one. Nice late die state to boot. Will easily pay for my investment in it, to be sure.

The latest in a long line of solid hits on "dateless" half/large cent purchases, including the following:

- 1809 Classic Head cent from a $2 bargain bin
- 1811 Half Cent, won auction for $42
- 1796 Liberty Cap cent for $20 (idek why a truly dateless Cap cent would be listed this low)
- 1796 Draped Bust cent for about $3, part of a cull lot
- Actually undated but double-struck in collar 1790s Draped for $10
- now this 3 errors for $14

Now that is how you fill in a date set. Search those cull EAC listings for all they're worth, fellow eBayers! You'll be surprised sometimes how glaringly the steals stare you in the face.

Wow! an 1809 cent for $2, and an 1811 Half Cent for $42 ?

Excellent!

I wish that was a cc. A scan of my Philadelphia. Anyhow, on the subject at hand. I met a guy here in Pittsburgh who collects only fair to vg with readable dates. I have to say he has quite a collection including many key dates.
