I've seen something like this but with a standing figure of the Pope. And I think that was an actual coin..

I ordered those twin tower coins! 2 of them. what I got was double billed on my credit card, was only able to reverse one charge and never got the coins. basically like $90 for nothing.

Write them, phone them, threaten them, that's just not right! You deserve satisfaction as they guarantee it!

If it's NOT A U.S. MINT PRODUCT.......IT'S JUNK !! Or at least not highly collectible U.S. Coinage numismatically speaking. Admittedly, there are interesting things that catch one's eye from time to time.......But being attracted to "shiny objects" can be bad sometimes !...

Now.....that's NOT the context in which I meant that statement !.. Quote: Eaglefoot said ....If it's NOT A U.S. MINT PRODUCT.......IT'S JUNK ! Admittedly, there are interesting things that catch one's eye from time to time.......But being attracted to "shiny objects" can be bad sometimes ......There are obviously very worthwhile products from other countries.....got some myself ! I was referring to these "private mint" associated companies within "this" country and referring to U.S. coins only. The Home Shopping Network is a Leading example.....the New York mint, etc. these "private" types of companies........did NOT mean to imply or insult "international" coinage or nationalities or Mints!....... good lord man!..... I hope no one other than BOB was confused with my meaning !.......yup......just meant in context with the thread......"colorized State qtrs." (platnum and gold "plated" stuff, knock offs, etc etc)....and "Non-U.S. Mint coinage"

WOW, who cares about coin value. For $1 and all those quarters, someone is not a good math person. They could have just dummped them into a banks savings account for more. You did great.

Hey, I got one of those hologramed coins. I think it is a silver dollar - walking liberty 1999 or so? I got it from my great uncle's estate.
