Well after Boaty McBoatface, I think it's going to be rather hard to have any vote on things as people don't want the usual options.

Thatcher on the banknote? Half the people wouldn't like this (probably the half that never sees £50 banknotes, like me).

I would refuse to accept £50 notes, if they had Margaret Thatcher on the banknote.

Her policies were the worst for a long time, especially for Scotland.

Fortunately, high value English notes don't circulate much in Scotland and there seem to be lots of forgeries.

I don't think it matters who gets on them, given that £50s dont circulate among normal Britons. That being said, lots of foreigners and tourists do use them, so maybe something stupid should be avoided...

Most people would probably not even look who is on the note and just use it.

Personally, I want to see Harry Maguire riding an inflatable unicorn.

I think, if a typical foreign tourist saw a banknote with Mrs Thatcher's portrait on it, they'd just assume it was a really, really badly drawn portrait of the Queen.
