Great, glad I'm on the right track in determining what kind of error this coin has.

I am unsure of that one as this is the first time I am even hearing about tapered planchets. It's just too bad though, as I didnt get the chance to weigh the penny before putting it on a 2x2 cardboard holder.

I'll send you a dime to take it out and weigh it for us. Just kidding, surely this is not a tapered planchet.

HeHHEhahheh .... you owe me that dime now Coinfrog, I'm kidding! Well, the coin does not weigh the 3.11 grams for it being copper. It's a bit underweight... 3.04 grams around there. So what does that mean?

Awesome, I appreciate all the feedbacks ! SO it's ruled out as a Grease Filled Die I assume. Would this coin be of any value or is it too common?
