Don't think that any economic reforms are planned in Zimbabwe. According to this BBC article for example http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/7532702.stm the primary reason is just to keep the money "manageable". Too many zeros are difficult to handle for most people but also for quite a few machines ...

And then, well, all those zeros look bad. So for a while Zimbabwe will have fairly "normal" denominations, I suppose. How long that will last - who knows.

Zeroes have been cut today, the new banknotes are available at banks.

Prices increase several times a day. The govt faces difficulty in having to print even more money.
