According to this BBC article for example http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/7532702.stm the primary reason is just to keep the money "manageable". Too many zeros are difficult to handle for most people but also for quite a few machines ... And then, well, all those zeros look bad. So for a while Zimbabwe will have fairly "normal" denominations, I suppose. How long that will last - who knows. Christian Report this Post to the Staff
