I'm stumped. I know I must be missing something obvious as there are only 3 known combos for this date. I'm thinking the obvious outcome is that it may be fake. Look at the way the "E" is cut in the word "ONE". I always go to Goldberg Coins and Heritage and view their pics for 1832 but couldn't find a match with N-1,2 or 3. I just bought it and is in the mail. What say all of you Large Cent masters? Thanks!

Pretty sure this is a fake, the stars are a particularly inspired effort...overall it just does not "look right" especially the denticles and some of the lettering.

Unfortunately, I have to agree.
It does not match N-1, N-2 or N-3. Not that many choices.
It is almost certainly not genuine.

Neither obverse of reverse match an 1832 variety, the reverse is from 1833 N-5. I haven't worked out which obv they used for the obv die.

Fake, but a scary good one. Only those that specialize would catch it.

Bob Grellman confirmed this is a Chinese fake. Well, at least I have 30 days to return it.
