I really don't know what to make of this coin. It appears to be bronze and 15mm in diameter. The obverse appears to have a fairly crude bust facing right. However, the reverse has very clear calligraphy.
Any help would be appreciated!

Perhaps from Carrhae, Mesopotamia...

Bob L - Ah, I think that you're definitely on the right track. I suppose that this coin is earlier than I expected. Maybe it's an issue of Caracalla similar to the one in the link?

Bob L- Thanks for the links & for the help! I do wonder if it is a Caracalla. However, could it also even be a barbarous issue? It does appear fairly crude.
