Over teh last three days I ahve problems when I switch from Forum to Forum. The message I get is reprinted below.

==============================================================
Quote:

Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0113'

Script timed out

/forum/forum.asp

The maximum amount of time for a script to execute was exceeded. You can change this limit by specifying a new value for the property Server.ScriptTimeout or by changing the value in the IIS administration tools.

Does that happen frequently or is it rather random? I'll have a look at the logs anyway...

That usually means the server is rather busy. In order to characterize it, I would like to know if that happens at specific times, specific forums, while reading posts, while replying... can you please let me know?

Thx.

Usually around 10 to 11 pm my time...West Australian Standard time...

Comes and goes, usually when I have finished reading posts from one forum and then switching over to another forum.

Do not seem to have the problem when I am replying to posts.

Thanks Rui....

I think that is usually the time we backup the server. That would account for that behavior. Please let me know if it keeps happening, at that time or any other time, for that matter.

Thanks Lim.
