My firsts time posting what I think are die cracks. Working on lighting, experimenting with light diffusers. Appreciate any feedback! THANKS!! First 2 photos are of the same coin.

On second look. The cracks look darker than the rest of the coin. Possible ink or other debris. May want to treat with acetone to see if the cracks disappear,

As a general rule,do not clean coins. Pure acetone is fine. John1

Nice die cracks Conserving a coin by soaking it in 100% pure acetone is fine.  to the CCF!

Conserving a coin by soaking it in 100% pure acetone is fine. SilverDollar, thanks for the reply. How long could/should a penny be soaked in acetone? After reviewing various posts etc. I guess die cracks, with some exceptions, do NOT add value to a coin? Still nice to collect.
