This is somewhat similar to the people on here who are doing this with penny rolls.

Now I store my currency in the red boxes you can get off of
air-tites.com. I use hard rigid sleeves to protect them in and I can get about 55 in each box.

Now here is the goal. I'm going to start with $2 dollar bills, and work my way to other demoninations, with the exception of the $500, $1000, $5,000, and $10,000.

2003-A 50 consecutive notes from a single district(maybe all of them)
2003 I-A & I-B Series.
1995 F-a & F-B
1995 Star notes
1976 All 12 districts plus 5 star notes from each district
1963 50 notes plus 5 stars
1963-A 50 notes plus 5 stars
1953-A,B,C 50 notes of each plus the 5 star notes
1928-C,D,E,F,G 50 notes of each plus the 5 star notes for each series
1928-A,B and plain series I havent put much thought into this one as how I am going to ascertain 50 B Series.

And then the BEP notes.
2003-160 from each district
1995 Mills-100 from each district
2003-A 10 from each district.

Now to me this seems like a tall order.

An ambitious plan -- but at least you have a plan. Welcome to the forum. You can help us out with your knowledge of paper money.

You plan on obtaining all of these from circulation? Ordering large amounts from banks and returning the unwanted ones?

I've just started looking through two dollar bills, and have looked for anyone with a statistical breakdown of their finds. I know some of the half dollar hunters and penny hunters keep detailed spreadsheets of their finds, but I haven't seen any for paper money.

There is one benefit in searching twos, in that it is a lot easier to 'dump' paper money than heavy bags of coins.

1995 Mills-100 from each district

I don't recognize this--is this a special, not-intended-for-circulation thing?

Good luck and have fun with your project,

Ok I went through all of my $2 dollar bills and this is what I have so far

2003-A. Went to the bank and received 50 consecutive bills. That was easy
2003 I-A Done with a lot of consecutive notes, some low numbered notes
2003 I-B Done with the same as the 2003 I-A

1995 F-A Done All 50. There are maybe two of them I would exchange for an uncirculated one, but this will do for now.

1995 F-B Done and Done. Nothing special in this one, just 10 consecutive notes out of the 50

1976 "G" District. Done, all I need is 4 more star notes from this district

So far this is what I have done on the list. Ill post more when I look through more

And to answer your question wheatiefan about the 1995 Mill. 100 is a lot from each district with each note going for $50 to $75 dollars depending on the district, or the numbers.
