If you're referring to the area below trust, no, a Grease Filled Die will make the devices of the coins themselves weaker, that's just a stain.

It looks like just a surface issue, probably environmentally caused. It should clear up a bit with acetone

I can't say what it is just yet. Give it an acetone bath and see what comes out.
