Hello everyone found an interesting coin up for sale. It's not attributed, but I'm guessing Marcus Aurelius. However, I see a "ANTO..." in the legend maybe Antoninus Pius? It's interesting though with an obverse strike on both sides. Any thoughts?

Hey My friend

With all respects but I think this coin is fake I don't think there is such coin with obverse and reverse to be the same. Also the fabric of metal and softness of details of bust has some alarms to me.

I have my suspensions as well, the coin doesn't look right to me at all. However to me anyway, these doesn't scream fake. But I have seen a double obverse on authentic coins as well.

It is purporting to be Commodus with legend starting COMM ANT. I think that it is a fantasy piece created from casts of an obverse as stated above.

Yes fantasy piece came across my mind as well. Just haven't seen one of these. I have a well known Constantine one.
