The damage to this Morgan is "exactly" over the curled lip and nowhere else. Could this be mint damage or maybe someone at some time didn't like the idea of a sexy Dollar?

Your coin has post minting damage ( PMD). Not a mint error. Note how the mark is incused and flat. You can even see a bit of what looks like reeding from another coin in the damaged area.

Thanks, I was hoping the Hot Lips effect has been overdone at the mint and this was a rare error.
